East Norriton BSA Boy Troop 416 is a boy-led Scouting program with an emphasis on personal growth and fitness, community service, and leadership development.
Youth patrols plan outings. Scouts decide where to camp, what to do, and what to eat. Scouts learn accountability and how to deal with the consequences of their decisions and planning.
Boy Scouting is available to young men who have completed fifth grade and are at least 10, but not yet 18 years old. Boys can join at any age and do not need to have been in Cub Scouts.
Boy Scout Troop 416 is proud to join the Boy Scouts of America in preparing youth to make ethical and moral choices while creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Scott Dietrich is a lifelong Scout, starting with Cub
Scouts as a youth. He achieved the rank of Eagle in 1995 and is currently working on his Wood Badge. Scott spent many years as a COPE Instructor at Resica Falls Scout Reservation as well as other Boy Scout camps in the area.
Mr. Dietrich previously served as the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 416 and Assistant Cubmaster for Pack 416 prior to taking the role of Scoutmaster of Troop 416 in 2019. Mr. Dietrich is the proud parent of two boys and a girl who are all currently involved in the scouting program.
We are thankful to have Mr. Dietrich as a committed leader delivering an authentic scouting experience for our scouts.
Boy Scout Troop 416 meets at our Charter Organization, Norriton Presbyterian Church, on Thursdays at 8 pm.
Troop 416 is a diverse troop with scouts of various faiths.
